Foam Green City draws its palette from DepEd school-building paint schedules. The supplied presentation titled Paint Schedule Based on DepEd Standard Color Scheme lists these names:
| Building element | Colour names |
|---|---|
| Roofing | Foam Green / Aqua Paradise |
| Doors and jambs | Palmyra Green / Temptation / Matcha |
| Columns and beams | Yellow Rain / Beige (Light Shade) |
| Exterior walls and stairs | Crisp Ecru / Beige (Lighter Shade) |
| Interior walls | Bright Wonder / Beige (Lightest Shade) |
| Ceilings and fascia boards | Flat White / White |
| Railings and baseboards | Palmyra Green / Temptation / Matcha |
The presentation is held locally as 02-deped-mpss-paint-schedule-overview.png among seven supplied reference images. Its alternate paint names are transcribed above; sampled screen colours are not calibrated paint specifications.
DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2021, Annex D, pages 9–10, records the standard schedule, including Foam Green roofing, Palmyra Green doors, beige walls, and white ceilings. That version distinguishes light-brown corridor columns and uses lightest-shade beige baseboards, unlike the supplied presentation. The presentation’s date and original publication URL have not been established.
The artwork moves the roofing green onto domestic interior walls and varies its shades. The idea of surplus institutional paint spreading into homes, fences, and stores is the work’s speculative premise; these references do not establish that history.
